Meet Dr Mina Rizk
A Dentist Committed to Learning
To prepare for his career, Dr Mina completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science with First-Class Honours at Griffith University before undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Dentistry. He later returned to Griffith to complete a Master of Clinical Implantology, further developing his knowledge in both single-tooth and full-arch implant rehabilitation.
Dr Mina has pursued additional surgical training in Australia and overseas. In Brazil, he refined pterygoid implant techniques under Dr Pedro Rodriguez, and in Melbourne completed training in the Malo All-on-4® protocol and zygomatic implant techniques with Dr Larry Benge. This ongoing education supports Dr Mina’s work in complex implant cases and reflects his commitment to continued professional development.
He is also a Fellow and Member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI and MICOI) and is part of both the The Smile Factory and Nova Dental Implant Centre teams in Newcastle.
Taking the Time to Listen
Patients often appreciate Dr Mina’s calm and attentive approach. He takes the time to listen carefully, explain each step clearly and tailor care to the individual needs and goals of each patient. His focus is on helping patients feel informed and comfortable throughout their visits.
Outside of the Practice
Away from dentistry, Dr Mina enjoys spending time with his family, whether that means relaxing at home or exploring outdoors together. He says those moments help keep him grounded and continue to shape the compassionate approach he brings to patient care.
